Robyn Hitchcock & the Minus 3 3.2.06 Before and During Robyn's birthday Sam Bond's Garage Eugene, OR WM-D3 w/core-sound LCBs > XLII-s > Peak > Toast > Dime Robyn Hitchcock Pete Buck Scott McCaughey Bill Reiflin John Ramberg Finally I am getting to posting this. his was the night before, and the actual cross over into Robyn's birthday, the first of a two night swing through Oregon. Sam Bond's is a kick-ass neighborhood bar that has a healthy music calendar. It also is a favorite spot for some better known "rock stars" to have a good impromptu intimate gig, or just get back in touch with their bar band roots. Lemme tell ya, everyone was getting in touch with the bar this night. Sound is good, though my usual complaints about asshats paying $15 bucks to talk through a show are in order here. You may here me shushing some prattling dimwits at one point, but hey. So yeah, a bit chattery at points, but well worth grabbing. If not because Robyn graciously played I feel beautiful for me and my wife, as we drove down from Portland for the show, we had some friends play the song at our wedding and it was a couple days prior to my birthday. Yay. Cheers, enjoy, don't do bad things with good recordings. disc 1 01 tonight 02 intro banter 03 only the stones remain 04 big crows banter 05 i got the hots for you 06 banter 07 I feel beautiful 08 plugging in banter 09 madonna of the wasps 10 viva sea-tac 11 chinese bones 12 somewhere apart 13 banter 14 more banter 15 sally was a legend disc 2 01 el papa 02 ole tarantula 03 beautiful queen 04 underground sun 05 rain 06 9 miles high 07 I wanna destroy you 08 queen of eyes 09 for he's a jolly good fellow 10 listening to the higsons
